Book-themed advent calendars are a fun and exciting way for kids to count down to the holiday season. These calendars feature small gifts, such as miniature books or bookmarks, that can be opened each day leading up to Christmas.
So if you go that way, you will not only provide a daily dose of holiday cheer, but you can also encourage kids to read and discover new books. That’s a win-win for me 🙂
You may choose from pre-made advent calendars featuring your child’s favorite characters or create your own at home (yep).
If your kids are a bit older, book advent calendars can also help introduce your kids to a variety of different books and genres, encouraging them to explore new stories and characters.
Below are some that I found.
